RTI Act, 2005 sets out the rules and procedures regarding citizens “Right to Information”. It gives right to people to hold the government and organizations and ask for information and to check whether the people’s constitutional rights have been met or not. Any person who desires to obtain any information under the Act is to make an application to the departments of Government of India.
